Creating a jot in SpotJots Mobile: |

STEP 1: Give your jot a title and message. Click
the trackball in the Title field or the Message field to clear it out.
|
|
STEP 2: Select one or more categories.
You can enter one or more categories (use commas to separate) in the Category field.
Click on the trackball to select from a list of predefined categories. |

STEP 3: Select your jot's visibility.
You can make your jots public, private, or only visible to your followers.
|

STEP 4: Add your attachments.
Take pictures, video or voice notes and add them as attachments. Also add
files from your device. TIP: Click the Menu button for quick access to the camera.

STEP 5: Publish your jot to other sites.
All jots are sent to SpotJots, but you can also publish them to your other
online accounts. Click the trackball in the "Send To" field to select the sites.
|
|
STEP 6: Specify your jot's location.
If your phone is GPS-enabled, you can select the GPS option to use your
current location. Otherwise, select the address from your contacts list or type
one in (street address, city/state or zip).

STEP 1: Begin the search.
On the View tab, highlight the Search button and click the trackball.
|
|
STEP 2: Specify "Local SpotJots" search. Highlight
the Show field and click the trackball. Select "Local SpotJots" from the menu. Select
your location in the Near field.
|
|
STEP 3: Browse the results.
Local SpotJots will be listed based on relevancy (based on post time and
distance). Highlight the jots that interest you and click on the trackball to open
the jot, or place your own jot at the same location.

STEP 1: Begin the search.
On the View tab, highlight the Search button and click the trackball.

STEP 2: Specify "People I'm Following". Highlight
the Show field and click the trackball. Select "People I'm Following" from the menu.
Select your location in the Near field.

STEP 3: Browse the results.
Your friends will be listed by distance from you (closest to furthest),
with their last reported address. Highlight the person that interests you, and click
the trackball to view their profile or place a jot at their location.
